The CE23A Spectrum Display is designed to work with the CE21A Frequency Selective Levelmeter (sold separately), to display baseband signals received by the Selective Levelmeter. Sweepwidths cover 1, 12, 60, 600, or 1800 channels. These sweepwidths correspond to bandwidths of 4kHz, 60kHz, 300kHz, 3MHz and 9MHz.
The display levels are logarithmic. In the 10 dB per division mode they cover a range of -20 dB to +40 dB (60 dB range) referred to 0 dBm on the CE21A. An expanded range of 1 dB per division is also provided. Using this range any vertical 6 dB segment of the received signal may be examined. The actual level of the signal displayed depends on the setting of the Level controls on the CE21A.
After the CE23A has been calibrated to the CE21A the 0 db line on the CE23A graticule corresponds to the Level set by the CE21A Level controls. Frequency Range from 4.0kHz to 9.1MHz Marker Accuracy of ?2% of Full Scale (9MHz, 3MHz, 300kHz Sweepwidth) Resolutions of 0, 20, or 50 dB Level Range from -99 dBm to +19 dBm (for Zero Level on Display)
